About the Course
The course equips government agencies and maritime supply chain operators with actionable insights to effectively combat wildlife trafficking at sea, empowering them to proactively prevent and suppress such illicit activities. The course introduces the IMO Guidelines for preventing and suppressing wildlife smuggling on ships engaged in international maritime traffic, and highlights the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders across the maritime domain.
The course is offered free of charge and is available in English. It is self-paced, requiring no prerequisites for enrollment. Participants can start, pause, resume, or replay the course at any time. Upon successful completion, a certificate of completion can be downloaded and printed.
The course is designed to take 6 hours to complete.
